Specific questions and useful explanations

We organise articles around practical questions, relevant context and decisions a reader can understand. Guides explain trade-offs rather than promising a universal answer. Where circumstances change the answer, we identify what needs to be checked.

Evidence and original sources

We prefer responsible public authorities, original documentation and the relevant governing body for technical or regulatory claims. Links support further reading and do not imply affiliation. Check current conditions before making a decision that depends on a rule or service.

Comparison and experience

Comparisons use explicit criteria and documented features. We distinguish those facts from suggestions about how a reader might approach a task. This publication does not present stock photography as a staff portrait, a personal product test or evidence of an event we attended.

Corrections and discussion

Report a possible error with the article URL, the statement and a relevant source. Comments are reviewed before publication for relevance, privacy and unlawful content. A reasoned disagreement is welcome; publishing another person’s private details is not.
